A tipper laden with sand knocked down a hawker and her child, killing them instantly in the Oshodi area of Lagos state.

It was gathered that the truck filled with sharp sand had experienced brake failure before killing the sachet pure water seller and her baby.

According to reports, the deceased who was in the midst of her colleagues across the road, was the only victim of the disastrous break failure.
