Actress in talks to star in Marvel's 'Doctor Strange'

Tidal Swinton is in talks to star alongside Benedict Cumberbatch in the upcoming Marvel's 'Doctor Strange'.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Academy Award winner Tilda Swinton is in negotiations to play The Ancient One in the Marvel superhero film.

The Ancient One is a fictional character in the Marvel Universe. He was the mentor of Doctor Strange and existed as the "Sorcerer Supreme", a title that he wins, during the 20th century AD.

Synopsis.

"After his career is destroyed, a brilliant but arrogant surgeon gets a new lease on life when a sorcerer takes him under his wing and trains him to defend the world against evil."
