Check out Nigeria's first goal at the World Cup

On the night of June 21, late Super Eagles striker Rashidi Yekini entered the history books after scoring Nigeria's first goal at the FIFA World Cup.

Rashidi Yekini latched on to a cross from Finidi George to score a tap in and followed it up with one of the iconic goal celebration of the World Cup.

After scoring what he knew was the first goal of Nigeria at the World Cup, the then reigning African Footballer of the Year ran into the goals, grabbed the net, and shook it endlessly while screaming to the high heavens.
