Popular radio station shuts down due to fuel scarcity

Popular OAP, Fade Ogunro anchored the last transmitted programme, Liquid Lounge with Fade for Saturday, May 23, 2015 after which the radio station was shutdown till Sunday, May 24, 2015.

At exactly, 8:30 PM on Saturday, May 23, 2015, popular radio station, Beat 99.9 FM shut down transmission in other to ration fuel consumption in the broadcasting house.

The radio station took to its official Twitter account to announce to its teeming fans and listeners that transmission would be shutdown as a result of 'fuel shortage.'

Popular OAP, Fade Ogunro anchored the last transmitted programme, for Saturday, May 23, 2015 after which the radio station was shutdown till Sunday, May 24, 2015.

This is coming in the height of the fuel scarcity witnessed all over Nigeria.
