Spanish football league La Liga has condemned threats made by Sevilla fans against players and club officials after Sunday's 0-1 loss to last-place Real Oviedo. The Andalusian side currently sits 17th in the table, just two points above the relegation zone.

Following their third consecutive league defeat, a group of Sevilla fans verbally abused players at the airport upon their return from Oviedo. Another group of masked supporters gathered at the training ground.

"We condemn such displays from fans. This behavior is unacceptable and crosses the line of legitimate criticism," stated La Liga management in a statement, as reported by AFP.
