All the Clean, Luxe, and Edgy Fits Tems Has Stepped Out In Lately

Tems, the Grammy Award-winning Nigerian singer and songwriter, has been serving us looks back-to-back in the past month. 

From the surprise drop of her Love is a Kingdom EP, which has music videos for tracks like Big Daddy, Lagos Love, and First, to her performance at Afropunk Brazil 2025 as a headliner and her attending the GQ Man of the Year event, she hasn’t missed a beat.

Tems is known for her immaculate beauty and fashion looks, and her long-time stylist, Dunsin Wright, knows exactly what fits her and makes her stand out.

Here is a breakdown of her recent fashion moments that have us all taking notes.

For the GQ Man of the Year awards in London, Tems went for a look that was pure elegance. She wore a fitted white tank top tucked into a beautifully sculpted corset and a textured skirt that just flowed. 

Styled by her long-time collaborator Dunsin Wright, this all-white ensemble felt fresh and effortless. It’s the kind of outfit that says, "I know I’m a star, I don’t need to shout about it."

The visuals for her new EP are basically a fashion lookbook. She gave us three distinct vibes, and every single one hit the mark:

The Cool Girl in Big Daddy: This might be the most relatable look of the bunch. She paired an oversized, comfy grey zip-up hoodie with sequined, camouflage-style wide-leg trousers. The heavy silver jewellery and black platform shoes gave it that extra bit of edge.

The Soft Life in Lagos Love: Switching gears completely, Tems gave us luxury in Lagos Love. She wore a simple white slip dress layered under a cream robe trimmed with feathers. It gave off major "woke up like this in a 5-star hotel" energy. It was soft, feminine, and incredibly dreamy.

The Action Star in First: Then there was the first visual, where she went full "Bond girl." Dressed in a sleek, skin-tight black latex bodysuit and posing next to a luxury car, she looked powerful and sharp. The dark lip and short bob hairstyle added a mysterious touch that was vastly different from her usual flowy waves.

Tems’ travel style is just as good as her red carpet game. While in Salvador, Bahia, for Afropunk Brazil, she kept it fun and colourful with her outfit choice. We saw her rocking a bright yellow button-down top with blue jeans and a red cap covered in little embellishments. It was colourful, tropical, and perfectly matched the energy of Brazil.

We also can’t forget that red sparkly number she wore while performing with Coldplay. The halter-neck top and matching bottom were covered in sequins that caught every stage light. It was bold, festive, and exactly what you wear when you are sharing a stage with a band of that magnitude.
