British/Ghanaian rapper covers 2face's African Queen

With tons of Nigerian acts remaking hit songs by international artistes, mostly of American musicians; it’s refreshing to also see international stars cover hit songs from Nigerian musicians.

In a three minutes delivery, British/Ghanaian rapper Sway covers 2face’s classic African Queen on BBC 1Xtra Live Lounge and he did justice to it.

Just like the era of international collaborations was ushered in, as American musicians, from the A, B to C lists are more than happy to hit the vocal booths with Nigerian acts – even though it comes with thousands or millions of bucks sometimes, international covers is another step forward.
