Oprah indicated her interest to purchase a stake of the club on a TV show Lorraine, where she was joined by Popular actresses Mindy Kaling and Reese Witherspoon.
Kaling who is an investor at Swansea City, shed more light on her passion towards football as she discussed why she got involved.
She said, "Football is such an amazing sport, it's so incredible and incredibly popular. I believe in this team, and I think it's a smart choice, I don't think it's going anywhere.”
Kaling also stated that Oprah inspired her to make the move which prompted a response from the veteran talk show host.
Oprah responded joking that should could also invest in Swansea due to the passion of Kaling.
She said, "I do believe in making investments in what you believe so that your energy goes into the same thing that your money is going into and that just gives it more power, so I now believe in the team, I'll invest in it too,"
Oprah Winfrey is the Proprietor of the popular Tv show "The Oprah Winfrey Show", which ran from 1986 to 2011.
