Just hours after the Bahrain Grand Prix concluded in Malaysia, it emerged that the Asian nation is in negotiations for a permanent spot on the Formula 1 calendar. Reports that Malaysia is pushing for a permanent Formula 1 return were confirmed on national television today by the country's Prime Minister, Anwar Ibrahim, who has been in office since the 2022 elections.
