Players surprise team administrator, Ruth David on her birthday

The Super Falcons took out time out of training to celebrate the birthday of the Team Adminstrator, Ruth David.

Players organised a surprised birthday for Ruth on Thursday, June 11.

Ruth according to a report on the NFF official website, Ruth, who was lured into the team's dining room and presented with her cake and gifts.

The Super Falcons will this evening be facing Australia in their second match in the ongoing FIFA Women's World Cup and team captain Evelyn Nwabuoku also pledged to win the game for Ruth.

"Today is our Team Administrator's birthday we want to wish her long life and prosperity. We have been together as a team and we value her contributions so much," Evelyn said.

"We hope to continue the celebration after defeating Australia in our next game.

"There's no better birthday present we can give her other than picking the maximum three points in our next match."
