Nigeria's senior women team will be facing Nigerian female clubside Confluence Queens in a friendly this weekend ahead of their final round of the All African Games qualifying series
The Super Falcons will face the Lokoja based team at the Fifa Goal Project pitch, Abuja on Saturday, March 14.
According to the team's media officer, Gracious Akujobi, an agreement has been reached with the management of the clubside for the friendly which will help the Super Falcons prepare for their double-header against the Malians in March.
“We’ll play Confluence Queens from Lokoja in a friendly match on Saturday at the Fifa Goal Project ground in Abuja," Akujobi told Pulse via a phone call.
“The Confluence Queens is a good team and we expect them to be a quality opponent which will prepare us for the qualifiers against Mali in Bamako," she further added.
The first leg of the All African Games Qualifying games against Mali will take place on Sunday, March 22 with the reverse fixture in a forthnight.
