Sunday Oliseh picks 6 home based players for Tanzania clash
Super Eagles coach Sunday Oliseh has picked just six home based players from the 17 that have been training in camp.
Oliseh initially invited 23 home based players to camp in preparation for next month's 2017 African Cup of Nations qualifiers against Tanzania but released six later as the remaining players continued to train.
The Nigerian Football Federation (NFF)through its official Twitter account have now revealed that just 6 player will join up with their foreign based counterparts for next month's game.
The players chose are Ikechukwu Ezenwa (Sunshine Stars), Solomon Kwambe (Warri Wolves), Chima Akas (Sharks), Austin Obaroakpo (AbiaWarriors), Usman Mohammed (Taraba) and PrinceAggreh (SunshineStars).
The NFF have also revealed that the remaining six players along with their invited foreign based counterparts are expected to report to the Super Eagles camp at Bolton White Hotels and Apartments, Zone 7 on Monday,August 31.
The Super Eagles are expected to leave Abuja for Tanzania via a chartered Arik Air flight on Thursday September 3.
After the game the team will move straight to Port Harcourt from Tanzania to continue preparations for the September 8 international friendly against Niger Republic.
