Uganda scored from a sloppy Super Eagles defending as Faruku Miya profited from a deflection by Akeem Latifu in the 80th minute to beat a sprawling Vincent Enyeama, who failed to palm away the ball.

The Ugandans came out straight from the blocks at the start of proceedings and got the first freekick of the game when Ogenyi Onazi fouled Godfrey Walusimbi in the 2nd minute of the game.

The Super Eagles’ first real chance of the game came in the 5th minute but Anthony Ujah fired straight at the Ugandan keeper, Dennis Onyango.

Despite several changes by coach Daniel Amokachi, it was the Ugandans that took the elad late into the second half of the game.

The Super Eagles will be facing the Bafana Bafana of South Africa in their next friendly match on Sunday, March 28.
