For the international break, the Super Eagles camp opened at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in London and trained at The Hive (home of Barnet FC) where they also played the friendly game against Senegal.

According to the Technical Adviser of the Super Eagles, Gernot Rohr, the immediate focus and preparations are in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against South Africa in June and the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Cameroon in August.

“We planned two international friendlies but could only play one. However we are still able to do some work,” Rohr said on the official page of the Super Eagles.

“We’ve been able to see some new players and young Nigerian talents here in the UK, that could be part of our future.”

"I'll be back in Lagos next week to watch some NPFL games & see some of our home stars in action as we continue to plan ahead."

The Super Eagles of Nigeria on Monday had their final training before leaving camp for their respective clubs.

In the training, the players were divided into Team A and Team B for a game which ended 1-1.
