Oliseh controversially resigned from his position as chief coach of the Super Eagles in February 2016 citing contract violations, unpaid wages and benefits to players and assistant coaches.

NFF president, Pinnick recently revealed that despite his controversial resignation, he and the former Juventus midfielder have been speaking to each other.

Oliseh however took to his Twitter to deny Pinnick’s claims writing; “contrary to the false assertions being spread by Mr Amaju Pinnick, we are in no way close & I have avoided all contacts since my Resignation!”

Five months after resigning, Oliseh revealed that he and his assistant Jean Francois Losciuto are still being owed by the NFF.

“Hope the NFF will pay coach Losciuto & myself the huge amounts they still owe us without litigation whilst we are alive! Pray they listen!” the former Super Eagles coach wrote on Twitter.

He further threatened that the NFF could face ban from the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS).

“For 5 months, Losciuto's lawyers' letters to D NFF have been ignored. Should CAS suspend Nigeria it is not his fault. B4 they lie 2 you again!” he added.
