Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi has claimed that some officials of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) wants to get rid of him.

The Delta State born coach today, Tuesday, June 23 faced the disciplinary committee  of the NFF following the reports that he applied for the job of the vacant Ivory Coast national team.

In an interview with , Keshi claimed that his detractors are at work and want to divide and conquer, all in the bid to give the coaching job to their own candidate.

“They want to talk to me but let me talk to them first; I’m tired of all these Keshi do, Keshi do that talk," Keshi said.

"If they want to give the job to somebody else like they are planning, let them go ahead but they should stop destroying my name everywhere.”

Keshi signed a new contract in April to resume his role as coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria after guiding the team to the 2013 African Cup of Nations title.

The NFF executive board will have the final say on any punishments, on a date yet to be decided.
