Sporting midfielder Giorgi Kochorashvili is reportedly on the verge of departing Alvalade to join Sevilla.
Spanish media outlets initially reported that the Seville-based club had tabled an immediate offer of €4 million for the 27-year-old midfielder. However, A BOLA understands that the bid has not yet reached that figure. Negotiations between the clubs are ongoing and could be finalized within the next few hours. Sevilla aims to have the Georgian international available for their upcoming LaLiga match this Saturday, away to Athletic Bilbao.
Should the transfer materialize, it would mark Kochorashvili's return to Spain. The Georgian, capped 26 times internationally, moved from Levante in Valencia to Sporting last summer in a €5.5 million deal. He made 26 appearances for the Lions.
