You have to make sacrifices for each other

 Hebrews 12:2 (NKJV): Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Sometimes it looks foolish for you to keep making sacrifices when the other person does not reciprocate. Welcome to marriage.

Marriage is a sacrifice of love and resources for the ultimate good of the union or the vision.

Someone says: How long will I continue to do this? I am human you know, it is impossible to cope with this.

Yes it is, when you try to take it on by yourself. Seek God's guidance and help, you will see how easy it is to keep on.

Prayer:

Father, help me to bring the best out of my spouse, in line with your vision for him or her.
