Multi-talented artiste, Solidstar has lashed out at the Nigeria Entertainment Awards (NEA) on social media.

The singer who failed to pick up an award over the weekend has reacted to the snob. According to the act, NEA, which holds every year, isn’t credible.

“most of these Nigerian awards are just jokes! especially NEA!,” Solidtar tweeted Tuesday morning.

The 2015 edition of the NEA was staged on Sunday, September 6, 2015 in New York. Several notable Nigerian artistes were nominated but didn’t win. Reacting to this, Solidstar said;

“All these highest famzer gets nominated and highest bidder win awards. I don’t need your nominations to know that I’m making Good music!l” the Baby Jollof singer concluded.

In music, Yemi Alade picked up the honor as the Best Female Act. This is her second major award in a space of two months after picking up a similar honor at the MAMA 2015. Kiss Daniel got recognised for his outstanding year so far, as he walked away with the award for Best New Act.

Most Promising Act went to Simi, who gave a special performance of her hit songs, including Jamb Question. Her labelmate, Praiz, was celebrated as the Best R&B Act.

In the video category, Unlimited L.A won the award as the Best Music Video, for his work on Di’ja’s ‘Aww’. Best Female DJ fell to DJ Cuppy, and veteran Fuji maestro, Pasuma won the Best Indigenous Act award.

The event was hosted by singer Osas Ighodaro, and Nigerian pop star Ice Prince Zamani.
