Slovan's Opponents Cruise to Victory and Leapfrog Real Madrid in the Table

Real Sociedad secured their second consecutive win, edging Deportivo La Coruña 3-2. The hosts raced to a 3-0 lead before Mario Soriano pulled one back, and after Pablo Marín was sent off for the home side, Yeremay Hernández converted a penalty to bring the visitors within one. The drama continued in the closing stages as Deportivo's Lorenzo Amatucci was also shown a red card.

Real Betis claimed their sixth victory of the season, brushing aside Osasuna 5-2 to move past Real Madrid into third place in the table. Team captain Isco starred with a brace, while Croatian striker Ante Budimir scored at both ends for the visitors, netting an own goal alongside his regular strike. Betis are among Slovan Bratislava's opponents in the Champions League league phase.
