Signed for £115 Million, Rejected Liverpool. Chelsea Hands Key Player Long-Term Deal

Ecuadorian footballer Moises Caicedo has agreed to a seven-year contract extension with Chelsea FC. He will remain at Stamford Bridge until 2033.

Caicedo joined the London club from Brighton in 2023 in a then-record British transfer worth £115 million. “I am happy to extend my contract with Chelsea. I believe in this team and the club. We are heading in the right direction, and we are only at the beginning,” the 24-year-old midfielder stated, according to AFP.

Chelsea currently sits in 6th place in the English Premier League table. On Saturday, they face a crucial battle for a European competition spot against Manchester United.
