47 year-old Ginola who‘s been more of an actor than a football administrator since his retirement in 2002, just wakes up and says that he wants to depose Sepp Blatter from the FIFA Presidency; an ambition of many including former UEFA president, Lenart Johansson; former France international and Football chief Jeroma Champagne.

Ginola debuted for the Le Blues of France in 1990 but only lasted till 1995, winning just 17 caps and scoring 3 goals but had his club career run through various European clubs including, Newcastle, PSG, Tottenham and Aston Villa before hangind the boots with Everton in 2002.

FIFA statutes state that before anyone can stand the chance of becoming FIFA President, he should have been involved in the game for at least two years straight and needs the backing of five football associations on the least.

There is little or no chance for Ginola who was part of England’s failed bid for the 2018 World Cup but the camp of the 47 former PSG winger still believe against belief.

"We will be looking for the full support of Uefa and five football associations," Ginola’s spokesperson said.
