The Paris Saint-Germain defender was said to have had an altercation with police as he left a nightclub in the early hours of Monday.

According to police, the right-back was arrested at 5:50am local time after he spent the night at a club with friends near the Champs-Elysees.

He has however denied the charge and has himself filed a complaint against the police for violence according to Sports.

The defender was suspended for six weeks in February for homophobic insults towards some of PSG teammates and coach Laurent Blanc.

He is however unlikely to face any club suspension because of this arrest as it happened after the season.
