Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly reached a verbal agreement for the transfer of forward Bradley Barcola, according to transfer expert Bradley Barcola. The Merseyside club is set to pay an initial £100 million fee, with the deal potentially including an additional £40 million in add-ons. Barcola is expected to become Liverpool's second most expensive signing in history, trailing only Alexander Isak, who joined from Newcastle last summer for £125 million. The French international is being brought in as a replacement for Mohamed Salah, who departed earlier this summer. Barcola boasts a record of 39 goals and 37 assists in 152 appearances for Paris Saint-Germain, alongside six goals in 28 caps for France. He impressed significantly at the World Cup in the USA, Mexico, and Canada this summer while representing the French national team.

This acquisition will push the Reds' total spending over the last eighteen months to £664 million. During this period, the club has brought in talents such as Milos Kerkez, Hugo Ekitike, Florian Wirtz, Victor Muñoz, Jérémy Jacquet, Giovanni Leone, and Jeremie Frimpong. Barcola, 23, primarily operates as a left winger but has proven effective across all attacking positions.
