Heading into Sunday, Ogier had shared the record with fellow nine-time champion Sébastien Loeb, with both French legends tied on 120 career podiums.

However, question marks remain over whether Ogier will continue competing in the WRC into 2027. Speaking to Canal+ ahead of Rally Italia Sardegna, he confirmed he will not take part in his beloved Rallye Monte-Carlo in 2027, adding that he could contest an "even more limited program." Toyota has yet to announce its driver lineup for next year, when fresh technical regulations take effect and the new WRC27 machinery makes its debut.

Two-time world champion Carlos Sainz sits high on the all-time leaderboard with 97 top-three finishes, followed by 2024 world champion Thierry Neuville on 76 podiums and four-time title winner Juha Kankkunen on 75.
