Abbott, who bowled the ball that felled Hughes, produced a stunning second-innings haul of 6-14 from seven overs for New South Wales as they bowled Queensland out for 99 in an emphatic victory at the Sydney Cricket Ground.

NSW won by an innings and 80 runs, largely courtesy of Abbott's spell - which could yet see him go from having his name in the headlights for unwanted and unjust reasons, to international Test debutant.
The paceman, 22, made his limited-overs international debut in a Twenty20 against Pakistan in October, before also opening his ODI account two days later.
