Senate President, Bukola Saraki, on October 21, 2015, appeared before the Code of Conduct Tribunal to face charges of asset declaration fraud.

81 Senators accompanied Saraki to the Tribunal in a bid to show their support for the Senate President.

The legislators who accompanied the Senate President include Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, Dino Melaye, Samuel Anyanwu and Stella Oduah.

The Code of Conduct Bureau brought the charges against Saraki in September after accusing him of false and anticipatory declaration of assets during his tenure as governor of Kwara State.
