The 20-year-old was unveiled a Bordeaux player on Monday, August 6 in a deal reportedly worth €8m.
In a statement on their official Twitter account, Bordeaux revealed that the Nigerian has signed for a duration of five-years and will wear the number 10 jersey.
The message reads, “#Mercato   It’s done! Samuel #Kalu is Girondins! The striker     has committed for 5 years with the club from @KAAGent!"
Samuel Kalu previously joined KAA Gent from Slovakian side AS Trencin in 2016.
Since his move to the Belgium first division he has contributed a eight goal in a total of 32 apperances.
The Nigerian youngster who is highly rated in Belgium is seen a a direct a replacement for Brazilian forward .
He is yet to make an appearance for the Super Eagles of Nigeria and will be hopeful of a call up by Gernot Rohr for the next qualifiers against Seychelles in September.
