Tech entrepreneur,
Speaking to Pulse on his new achievement, Ajiboyede revealed that WorkClick is a service networking company which brings the service providers to the hirers and demands.
"WorkClick is a service networking company which brings the service providers to the hirers and demands. We offer predefined services with price. We match hirer with service providers and you can't select your worker but can only decline worker if you don't see the worker fit for your services with reasons," he began.
Speaking further, Ajiboyede said: "We deal with instant servicing, which are services that would not take more than 24 hours and these include cleaning, laundry, mechanic, computer repairer, mobile phone repairer, barbing, fumigation, shoemaker, cable TV installers, tailors, painting and others. Our services aren't online, they are onsite services, which means our professionals will have to come to your location to provide services."
The desire to create a service provider app
The tech entrepreneur noted that "The idea is to reduce unemployment and create more jobs which giving others with job to make more income in their spare time."
Continuing, he said: "We require good skills and good tools to do the job. Workclick will screen and retrain you in terms of customer relation so that you can join our long list of workers. We have at least 5,000 workers with skills to provide on site and instant services but we are quick to only approve over 500 on the platforms are the ones that have met our set requirements and have successfully passed through our screening and trainings. We pay our workers weekly and payment comes in cash and card and we only get 20% as our commission for providing the platform."
Explaining how the app works
Ajiboyede took his time to explain exactly how his new app works in creating more jobs as well as providing services for hirers.
He said: "If the hirer does not have clarity of service he or she wants, he or she picks the consultants. On the platform is also a position for the consultants, where these experts visit the location and evaluate the challenge to the hirer, who now makes another request stating in specifics the nature of the service wanted. However, some services are predefined, for instance, barbing, hair plaiting but some services require clarity and the consultant comes around to evaluate the exact challenge. The cost for the consultant is fixed while costs for other service providers differ from one service to the other."
Security of hirers and service providers
Pulse engaged Ajiboyede on what plans he has to curb insecurity and ensure lives and properties of the hirers and service providers are secured.
He said: "Our workers are trained properly on security alert, we have details of all hirers, consultants and workers. We train the workers that if you feel where you are going is unsafe, you have the right to cancel the request, it's not about risking your life.
"And also the hirer has the right to cancel the request if the service provider doesn't look upright to you. We also advice the hirer to have something in the house to monitor the service provider while working in your home, offices or cars. So with these in place, we are able to monitor and reduce security challenges."
A truly new idea
Ajiboyede noted that WorkClick originated from the United States and isoperating in San Fransisco, Kenya and Nigeria.
"The app is patented idea with a trademark. We are predefined services with price. We match hirer with service providers and you can't select your worker but can only decline worker if you don't see the worker fit for your services with reasons. There are also no rooms for price negotiations because the prices are predefined and we are more engaging. We engage our service providers," Ajiboyede said.
