Salih Dursun sent off for showing red card to referee Trabzonspor Vs Galatasaray

A player was sent off in Turkey after he picked up the red card and showed it to the referee

Players have been sent off for a variety of offences, like two footed challenges, elbowing and other violent conducts.

But rarely have we seen a player show the red card for what Salih Dursun of Trabzonspor was sent off for over the weekend.

The Trabzonspor defender was one of four players sent off by Deniz Ates Bitnel in a feisty 2-1 defeat by Galatasaray on Sunday night in Istanbul.

Dursun was angered by the sending off of his teammate Luis Pedro Cavanda and mocked the referee by taking up a red card which was dropped by the referee and showed it to the match official.

The referee had no choice than to send him off after this action.
