Ruben Amorim has arrived in Milan, and he didn't shy away from the journalists eagerly awaiting his first day with AC Milan. "I am very happy to be here, it's an honor," the 41-year-old coach stated in Italian, with a shy, somewhat uncertain smile.

By the second question, he switched to English, explaining that in his sole interview, he had described coaching Milan as a "dream, at a special club and a great challenge." He even made a joke about his decision to have gone to Manchester United.

True to form, even unsure if the Italians would grasp his sense of humor, the former Sporting coach concluded by saying there's a lot of work ahead, but that everyone there plays to win.

For now, the latest reports indicate that Ruben Amorim aims to convince Luka Modric to stay for another season.
