Rossinier: They Beat Us With One Shot on Target

Chelsea manager Liam Rossinier found it tough to swallow the 1-0 defeat against Manchester United. He believes his team didn't deserve to lose the match, having created numerous chances, while the "Red Devils" managed only one shot on target, which ultimately proved to be the winner.

"It's incredibly difficult. Today they had just one shot on target, while we were attacking with ten men. We attacked wave after wave and hit the woodwork, I think, four times. I don't want my team to feel like everything is against us. We have to keep fighting," Rossinier stated.

He was displeased with his team's conduct during the opponent's goal.

"We need to defend better in those moments. We're not doing it and we're being punished. Right now, every small mistake we make ends up with the ball in our net, and that has to change. It all comes down to results, and today we didn't get the result we should have. The small things add up, but we have to keep working hard," the boss added.

Finally, he was asked if he felt pressure from the current situation.

"No. I put the most pressure on myself. We just need to keep working with the staff and the players to turn things around," the Englishman concluded.
