Set to debut under the management of Xtreme Concept, led by renowned DJ PCT, the award ceremony is aimed at celebrating the unsung DJs and music producers.

Poised to reward the unsung Djs and music producers all over Nigeria and even beyond, DJ PCT revealed that the idea was initiated over a decade ago, just to appreciate and celebrate the importance of Nigerian DeeJays and music producers to the world.

In his words, “We at Xtreme Concept are trying to be the front-liner in the entertainment business by contributing our quota through this rewarding award ceremony. We want to celebrate all music producers and Deejays on radio and television and because there is no way a hit song can be successful without them working on it and playing it so they need not only to be supported but also celebrated.”

Speaking further, he noted that the maiden edition of the award will come up at the first quarter of 2016 and will be an annual event which in the next five years would have moved round the six geo political zones of Nigeria.

'At the moment different individuals, government agencies and parastatals as well as corporate bodies are already keying into this project which is set to shake the entertainment industry to its main foundation,' he said.
