Brazilian football legend
Carlos who played for the current Champions League champions for 11 years between 1996 and 2007, will lead a Real Madrid delegation to launch the Real Madrid football Clinic in Lagos.
The clinic launch will hold at Yaba College of Technology, and the 2002 FIFA World Cup winner will aim to motivate an estimated 2000 children between the ages of seven and 17.
The delegation that will accompany Carlos to Nigeria includes Arenillas De Chaves Iñigo Director; Gomez Revenga Juan Pablo, Real Madrid soccer Clinic Director and Real Madrid Foundation Africa & Middle East Llamas Gonzalez Maria Dolores Head of Legal for Roberto Carlos.
The Coaching clinic is to educate and expose both male and female children to the philosophy of Real Madrid.
Roberto Carlos and the Real Madrid delegation will aim to give the participants of the clinic advanced training routines in technique and tactics as well as revealing how to make better decisions on the field of play.
In a report by , one of the organisers of the event Ms. Yomi Umar revealed details of the clinic.
She said, “We at SPR Luxury Limited are happy that the deal has been finalized and the launch date is fast approaching.”
She also stated that the aim of the programme is to have an impact on the participants.
“ I am sure this programmes will help the youths learn football and life skills as Carlos will also tell them a bit about how he became a successful person/footballer.” Umar concluded.
The clinic also has Social, educational and corporate aspect asides grooming potential footballers.
Roberto Carlos is a Brazilian great that won four Spanish La Liga titles, three UEFA Champions League and other titles with Madrid.
Roberto Carlos retired from football in 2012, after a stellar career with Real Madrid, Atlético Mineiro,Palmeiras, Inter Milan, and Fenerbahçe as well as winning the 2002 FIFA World Cup with Brazil.
