Nigerian sprinter, Blessing Okagbare progressed to the semi-finals of the Women’s 200m after finishing tops in the qualification.
Starting in Lane 4, Okagbare ran a time of 22.71s to automatically qualify for the semi-finals.
In other track events, the Nigerian duo of Tosin Oke and Olumide Olamigoke, didn't make it to the Triple Jump Finals after jumping 16.47m & 16.10m respectively.
