A former minister of National Planning, Chief Rasheed Gbadamosi has been reported dead.

Details are still sketchy as at press time but it was gathered that the former minister had suffered stroke in April and was flown abroad for treatment.

He was 72 years old.

Gbadamosi was a former chairman of the Petroleum Products Prices Regulatory Agency (PPPRA) and the owner of Ragolis water limited.

According to the Nigeria Television Authority (NTA), Chief Gbadamosi died on Wednesday evening, November 16, in his Ikorodu, Lagos residence.

The cause of his death was not disclosed.
