Barcelona winger Raphinha has returned to the Catalan capital, Spanish media report.
He was granted permission to spend a few days with his family in Brazil after sustaining a hamstring injury in his right leg during the friendly match against France (1-2).
The 29-year-old footballer is back to continue his recovery under the supervision of the club's medical staff. Initial forecasts suggest he will be sidelined for a total of five weeks, meaning he has approximately another month of treatment before he can play again.
The primary goal for Raphinha and the coaching staff is to have him available for Hansi Flick for "El Clásico" against Real Madrid on May 10th, with the big derby set to take place at Camp Nou.
Although he won't be playing, Raphinha's return is considered important for the team. As one of the captains, his leadership and presence will benefit the dressing room in preparation for key upcoming matches, including the Champions League quarter-finals against Atlético Madrid and the city derby with Espanyol.
