Rahimi: We can reach the final, and why not contend for the title

Moroccan international Soufiane Rahimi, who entered the match against Canada midway through the first half as a substitute for goalscorer Ismael Saibari and netted the Africans' third goal, expressed confidence that the "Atlas Lions" possess the necessary qualities not only to reach the World Cup final but also to contend for the title, given the potential of the current squad.

In statements to the media after the victory over Canada, Rahimi shared: "I would like to thank His Majesty King Mohammed VI for his congratulations, as well as the Moroccan people for their unwavering support. What we have achieved so far is just the beginning, God willing."

He added: "This is an immense joy for us and for the entire Moroccan nation. For me personally, the joy is even more special because simply being part of the national team and participating in the World Cup was a childhood dream of mine."

In conclusion, the forward stated: "We don't just dream; we work and strive hard. This group has the potential to reach the World Cup final, and why not even fight for the trophy. We hope the public continues to believe in us, because their support pushes us forward."
