The Brazilian's signing was announced today, confirming he will partner Oliver Bearman. This gives Haas a driver lineup made up entirely of Ferrari Driver Academy graduates, with both Bearman and Camara coming through the Maranello stable.
"I am extremely happy to be joining the Haas team as a Formula 1 driver. This is a massive step in my career, and I would like to thank Gene Haas (team owner) and Ayao Komatsu (Haas team principal) for the faith they have put in me," Camara said. "I am also deeply grateful to the Ferrari Driver Academy for their support and everything they have done for my development over the years, as well as to my family, who have always stood by me throughout this journey. "Now, my entire focus is on preparing in the best possible way for this new challenge. I have a lot to learn, and I look forward to getting to work with the team, understanding the car, and continuing to develop as a driver," the Brazilian added.
