A familiar face was spotted at Aleksandar Nikolić Hall. Nemanja Radonjić, the suspended Crvena zvezda footballer, has long been known to join fans in the arena to watch basketball games.
He's a big fan of Jared Butler, and he was seen on the TV broadcast during the match against Cluj.
It's worth remembering that Nemanja Radonjić has been suspended for the second time this season. The first instance occurred when Vladan Milojević was at the helm, who later reinstated him to the squad. In February, Radonjić received another suspension under coach Dejan Stanković, as confirmed by Zvezda in an official statement.
Football Club Crvena zvezda has suspended Nemanja Radonjić due to unprofessional and irresponsible behavior, and he will not be part of the first team until further notice. The club has repeatedly given Nemanja Radonjić opportunities to prove he deserves a place in the team, but each time, his attitude towards his responsibilities and his off-field conduct rendered those opportunities meaningless, demonstrating a lack of professional commitment to the Crvena zvezda jersey. Football Club Crvena zvezda will not issue any further statements on this matter, thereby closing the door on all future speculation regarding Nemanja Radonjić and his status at the club. The decision to remove him from the squad was made due to the Niš native's unsportsmanlike conduct, as explained by the club at Marakana, without going into further details beyond stating that Radonjić squandered yet another chance through his approach to duties and off-field behavior.
