Should women receive family inheritance?

It is common knowledge that women experience all sorts of discrimination based on their gender in Nigeria. There is statistical proof of this as Nigeria ranks very low on the Gender Equality Index.

The Purple 50/50 Campaign was developed to address these issues, to challenge stereotypes about gender roles and to change the mind of the average Nigerian one at a time.

Courtesy the Purple 50/50 organisers, the Pulse strivia team visited four states across Nigeria and asked every day people on the street the same question: "Should women receive family inheritance?"
