Last week, Capital Hill/Goretti Company rapper Illbliss had a one-on-one interview with Pulse.
The interview touched on a variety of topics like his new album, rap music in Nigeria, Capital Hill and his family life.
On the issue of the Nigerian rap crow, we asked him if his new project will give him the Nigerian rap crown.
"I am about the fans being happy. I am bout respect. The people will listen to the music and say this is a dope album" he said during the interview.
He also said the objective is to make money from his art.
"The crown is absolutely inconsequential. What's the crown without profit, without money, without a bigger fan base? The crown is virtual. We are trying to get paid, that's what it is" he stated.
Illbliss released his third album on June 26, 2015. The album features cameos from Wizkid, Olamide, Cynthia Morgan, Mike Aremu, Kcee, Peteru (Tha Suspect), Jaywilz and Stormrex.
