Read her letter here:

"My name is Adeyinka and I have been married for 12 years but I am not enjoying my marriage in any way because my husband has turned me into his punching bag.

And the problem is that I cannot leave him because of my two children because I do not know how to start life all over again.

My husband, Tobi, was not a brute when we got married but shortly after, he started being abusive verbally and with time, he started hitting me and after every attack, he would beg me so much, even crying, and promising never to raise his fingers on me again.

I always forgave him because of the love I have for him and prayed he would change. But the abuse continued and he graduated to beating me almost on a daily basis, even when I was pregnant.

I have lost two pregnancies and have had to be hospitalised on many occasions but still, I keep hanging on, hoping for a change.

Now it is getting out of hand and I don't know what to do. No one has ever had a divorce in my family and I don't want to be the first.

How do I stop my husband from being this brutal to me?

Adeyinka."
