Readers say a woman can only contribute to her wedding expenses

A reader, Vivian Ikechi, sent in a letter asking for advice after her boyfriend who is five years younger than her 38 years, insisted that if she wanted them to get married, she must foot the bill.

Being a well to do business woman, she says she is not totally averse to the idea but her dilemma is that the guy may see her as being too desperate and will not respect her in the marriage.
