Readers Say Greed Lead Ladies Into Prostitution

Our Community Poll yesterday, we came with the question: Why do girls take to prostitution? We also listed out options that would guide voters thus:

The responses were quite interesting as many readers took time to vote on the poll, a clear indication that the topic was quite interactive.

At the end of the day, Greed was the overall winner as many voted that it is the leading factor that lead ladies into prostitution, gaining a total of 33.3% while Lack of parental guidance came in second with 26.7%.

Employment issues and Waywardness were joint third with 13.3% votes each with peer pressure and the Society taking the blame with 6.7% each.

But interestingly, no voter put the blame on the Government and Family pressure, with the believe that these two factors cannot lead a woman into prostitution.
