Paris Saint-Germain has set its sights on Ajax forward Mika Gods. The French giants have already made contact with the Belgian footballer and held discussions with him.
PSG's interest in Gods is not new, with the player having already spoken to sporting director Luis Campos. The meeting didn't take place in Paris but in Portugal, which has a logical explanation. Gods was spotted in Porto – a city approximately an hour's drive from Campos's home.
The Parisians are serious about signing Gods, especially after failing to bring Yann Diomande to the Parc des Princes, and with the possibility of Bradley Barcola being sold to Liverpool. However, PSG isn't the only contender for the Belgian's signature, as other leading clubs are also monitoring his situation.
Ajax has reportedly slapped a €60 million price tag on their prolific goalscorer. Gods' current contract with the Amsterdam club runs until 2029.
