Plateau United were on the verge of grabbing a draw before Warriors won it with a late penalty.

MFM FC’s poor record in the north continued with a 3-1 loss to Kano Pillars. Pillars got the lead through Rabiu Ali through a penalty in the 12th minute but the league’s current highest goalscorer Stephen Odey equalised after a swift counter attack to net his 15th goal of the current campaign.
Amos Gyang and Adamu Mohammed netted in the 86th and 92nd minute respectively to get the win for Pillars.
Reigning champions got a goalless draw away at Niger Tornadoes in Minna while Shooting Stars got a relieving 2-0 home win over ABS.
Ibrahim Adebayo and Sunday Faleye netted in the second half to give Shooting Stars the win.
Enyimba slipped down the table after a 1-0 loss away at Nasarawa United. Ibrahim Alhassan netted his 11th league goal of the campaign to get the win for Nasarawa United.
