AMAA Holds Charity Ball in Lagos

Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) celebrated 10 years with the intention of raising charity funds to support its 'Film in a box' project on Sunday 17th August, 2014 at the Grand Ball, Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island with spiritual performances from the vocalist Frank Edwards (Nigeria), Gabriel Eziashi (United Kingdom), Kgosto and Joyous Celebrations group (both from South Africa) and comedy by Funny Bone.

The Event was graced by popular faces in the Industry including Bayray Mcnwizu, John Njamah, Emem Isong, Osita Iheme among others.

Five journalists were awarded with cash prizes for the outstanding articles they wrote on AMAA.
