Veteran Super Falcons striker makes World Cup squad

Veteran  Super Falcons striker, Perpetua Nkwocha is set to make her fourth World Cup appearance after she was included in the final list of 23 players for Canada 2015.

The four-time African Woman's Footballer of the Year was included in coach Edwin Okon's list which was released earlier today.

undefined, Asisat Oshoala, team captain Evelyn Nwabuoku and veteran goalkeeper Precious Dede are some of the regular named in the squad.

Goalkeeper, Sandra Chiichi and 2012 FIFA U-17 World Cup top scorer Chinwendu Ihezuo were however dropped.

The Super Falcons of Nigeria will play Sweden on Monday, June 8 in their first match in Winnipeg.

They will also play Australia and USA in the other Group D matches.
