KTM rider Pedro Acosta has hit out at MotoGP and specifically its minimum tyre pressure regulation in the premier class, an issue that came under the spotlight over the Indonesian Grand Prix weekend.

Both the sprint and Sunday's Grand Prix at Mandalika saw situations where riders deliberately allowed rivals through to ride in their dirty air and build up front tyre pressure. Acosta was among those managing front tyre pressure concerns during the race, and the Spaniard was fiercely critical of the rule afterwards.
"We looked like donkeys. I think Marc (Marquez) had the same problem as me because he also let me pass him. I don't know. I understand having a minimum pressure before the start, but it shouldn't decide races, like what happened with Jorge (Martin) in the sprint. "Before the start, he probably thought Marc and Marco (Bezzecchi) would be ahead of him. We can't control what other riders do. I believe pressure should be checked on the grid before the start, and whatever happens after that shouldn't matter. You can't control it," Acosta said.
